ABOUT US

 

We are a group of friends of all ages which ride every marque and every type of of motorcycle.

Most of us live in New Jersey, but our bikes take us everywhere.

 

New faces with all levels of riding ability are always welcome!  If you are relatively new to motorcycling and/or have limited time in the saddle for some reason, just say so...  And we will collectively, and respectfully, look after your interests to ensure that you have a great experience with us.

OUR ANNUAL TRIP TO VERMONT

​

We kick off each riding season with a week-long springtime trip to Vermont and stay at the Short Hills Ski Club's Lodge located along the Green Mountain State's famous Route 100.  The Lodge serves as our point of departure for exploring Vermont’s gently rolling valley roads as well as twisty and challenging mountain passes. 

 

VERMONT 2026 will run from Tuesday, May 26th through Sunday, May 31st.  Simply click here to go to the related "Events" page for more details.  If you cannot stay the full week, then join us when you can and make it a long weekend.  Arrangements are flexible.

SMOG WEEKENDS

​

Once we return to New Jersey, SMOG Weekends (Summer Motorcycle Overnight Getaway Weekends) provide opportunities for us to get together throughout the summer and into the fall.  Such events occur on a monthly basis and each weekend has a unique theme defined by its destination.  They all begin on Saturday mornings and get us home sometime on Sunday.

IN SUMMARY

 

Our Vermont trips and SMOG Weekends are varied in nature and each is individually described in greater detail elsewhere on this website. 

 

We are not a club with any dues, obligations, affiliations, or onerous rules.  However, if you indicate that you will be joining us on a trip, we ask that you:

​​

• ARRIVE ON TIME at the designated rendezvous point with a full take of gas and sufficiently in advance of the indicated "kickstands up" departure time;

​

• WEAR APPROPRIATE PROTECTIVE GEAR; and

​​

• RIDE WITHIN YOUR ABILITIES in a safe, responsible manner.

While every now and then we may find ourselves riding in a spirited manner (there is a time and a place for everything), we certainly do not want to find ourselves cleaning up any mess created by the absence of reasonable care and good judgement on the part of any rider.  Therefore, we ask that everyone wear appropriate protective gear and ride within their abilities in a safe and responsible manner.
